It's an age old question, but it's not even a question at all: "Is a hotdog a sandwich?" It's a topic that has been getting a lot of attention lately from the blogosphere and has even seeped into major news outlets like Fox and ESPN. I shouldn't even be acknowledging such a spineless, idiotic, gutless, asinine, foolish, absurd, laughable, cockamamie, outlandish, preposterous, irrational, nonsensical, ludicrous, moronic, mindless "question." Quite frankly, (see what I did there) it's insulting to have to write this blog, but #MoviesandFood is here to put this "debate" to rest once and for all. NO, the hotdog is NOT a sandwich. Yeah, it's meat in between bread blah, blah, blah. Well, go take your sandwich and eat it in Canada. What's next burritos, tacos, and burgers are sandwiches too? Corn dogs? This all inclusive "everything is a sandwich" culture needs to stop. PC America at its finest. The hotdog is THE most American food in the U S of A. It's iconic in every sense of the word, much like JFK, Apple Pie, and Football on Sundays so if you're going to discount its greatness by calling it a sandwich then just leave. I triple DOG dare you to go ask Joey Chestnut if he thinks a hotdog is a sandwich. It has its own emoji for fucks sake 🌭. It's quite simple for me. If you ask your wife to to go make you a sandwich, she ain't coming back with a hotdog. Case closed.
