If you're not familiar with Action Bronson, GET FAMILIAR. He just launched his new show, F*ck That's Delicious on the Viceland network March 3rd and it's AWESOME. If you're a hip hop head like myself, you've known all about Mr. Wonderful since his Dr. Lecter days. Before he broke out as a rapper, Bronson went to culinary school and worked as a chef in Flushing, NY. Now a chef turned rapper, Bronsiliño touts his culinary background and passion for food in almost all of his raps. It's an unfamiliar but perfect combo.
The show is a convergence of food culture and hip hop as it follows Action and his tour mates (Big Body, Mayhem Lauren, & The Alchemist) as they get zooted and go on culinary adventures...and occasionally play a concert in front of thousands of screaming fans. What sets F*ck That's Delicious apart from other food shows is that it is clearly raw and unscripted. They eat, they smoke, they perform, they philosophize, they sign autographs on pizza crusts. Bronson's charisma and quirky personality are infectious and make for truly captivating TV and you might actually learn a thing or two as well. Tune in for new episodes on Thursday's @ 10pm on Viceland. Bon Appétit bitches!
