So I finished up a couple shows the last few weeks. Walking Dead season 6 came to an end last Sunday and I could not be more disappointed both that I need to wait until October to start watching again and in the episode itself. Season 6 was probably the best season since The Governor died and that’s how you’re going to end it? I was all amped up for the hour and a half episode, if you make an extended episode that means shits gonna go down right? Nope, legit nothing happened. We just got an extra half hour of commercials. They drove around for the first hour 15 minutes and then we finally met Negan, who was a badass, but they could have introduced him a lot sooner in the episode and left some time to show us who he killed off. They leave us with a cliffhanger at the end of the second to last episode, is Daryl dead (?), then pretty much completely leave Daryl out of the finale (other than a quick glimpse of him… he is not dead, yet) and leave us with another cliffhanger.
There are a bunch of theories going around as to who they killed off, but I refuse to participate. They left us hanging so they could stir debate but I am not going to let them have it, because we can talk about it all we want or we can just fuckin’ wait until October and let them show us. I am just going to wait.

I also finished up House of Cards season 4. As I previously mentioned, I was about to give up on the show. Just thought it had run its course. But Frank Underwood rose from the dead and pulled me right back in. I did think it was ridiculous when Frank just pretty much threatened to kill Katherine Durant right in the Oval Office to get his way. I’m pretty sure the President just can’t go around threatening to kill people that directly work for him without getting tattled on. I get that Frank is the top dog and knows a lot of powerful people, but I’m pretty sure Katherine Durant does too. Frank has a bunch of enemies, Katherine should have just gone to them, I’m sure people would have believed her and just like that Frank would have been impeached. Show over. I guess that’s why they didn’t have her tattle on him but I’m just saying, you cant just threaten to kill people every time something’s not going your way and expect to last long.
I thought having Frank and Conway work together during the hostage situation was awesome. Just put two ruthless characters in a room together and good TV will ensue. The hostage situation was exactly what the show needed, campaigning can only be entertaining for so long, we need some real heat of the moment stuff and that’s exactly what the hostage situation provided. Letting the hostage die was the ruthless Frank we all like to see. Love how everyone looked away while the terrorists were slitting the victims throat but Frank didn’t blink.
I’m excited to see Frank and Claire organize chaos in season 5 but again, how much longer can this show last? Might need to pull out the wrap-it up box after season 5. But we’ll see, this show continues to drag me back in.
HOC Season 4 M&F Rating- 7.7

I’m still watching Better Call Saul but don’t really have much to say. They just tease us with Breaking Bad characters but nothing ever really happens in the show. They go whole episodes of showing tedious legal work. I don’t want to watch that shit. Kim legit just flipped through papers for a full episode a couple weeks ago.
Mike’s character probably has the best story right now. He’s starting to look into the Mexican cartel. But when the fuck does Mike sleep? If I don’t get my 10 hours I’m a zombie the next day and I’m in my mid 20’s, Mike’s gotta be 60+ and he hasn’t slept since the season began. Truly amazing.
Right now this show is just great at hyping up the next episode with the “scenes from next episode” but nothing actually ever happens. I’m still watching because of the great acting and hoping it picks up a little. After all, the first couple seasons of Breaking Bad standing alone are nothing too special either.
BCS Season 2 M&F Rating- 4.5
I didn’t hear much about Flaked but saw it on Netflix and gave it a watch. Any show about a guy underachieving in life and living the moviesandfood lifestyle I’m in. Its also good to have a 30min episode show in your rotation, can just cruise right through episodes. Starring Will Arnette I thought the show would be a little more comedic, although it did have its fair share of laughs, it was a lot deeper and depressing than I anticipated. Still liked it though and if they come out with season 2 I will probably continue watching.
